The Deputy President of the Turkish Chess Federation Mr. Tahsin Aktar made the first symbolic move on the first board the game between İsmael Khaddour from Syria and GM Daniil Dubov from Russia. The first round of the olympiad finished around 21:10 pm. The teams on the top boards won their games without any surprises. Switzerland, Georgia and Slovakia did not lose any match point and  made a good start on the olympiad. The second round will be at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.
