Day 2 Round 3

webtur3World Under 16 Chess Olympiad's third round completed with tough struggles. The last match between CM Bajaj Prince from India and Arman Mikaelyan from Armenia ended around 20.40 pm. CM Bajaj Prince defeated his opponent after the fight which lasted 105 moves. This victory did not help the Indian Team against Armenia. After winning the match with 3-1 score, Armenian Team is still leading in the olympiad with 10,5 points. Georgian Team recorded good result in this round. They won against  Turkish Red Team: 3,5-0,5. Thanks to this result, Georgian Team placed second with 10 points. In the second table, the match between Azerbaijan - Russia resulted in 2,5-1,5 score on behalf of Azerbaijan. As a result of this victory Azerbaijan placed third with 9 points 1,5 points behind the leader. It seems that we are going to see the  main challengers during the next rounds.
